Decide the category/ies which are most relevant to your business or project and confirm that the activity you are describing in your entry has been undertaken between 1st April 2020 – 31st May 2022.

You may enter more than one category, but you may only enter a specific project or business once in the same category. For multiple projects/events being submitted by the same organisation a separate entry should be completed.

Entrants should try to include as many relevant points as possible in their answers applicable to the Giant Spirit Criteria and Brand Values

Questions to be answered in the Accommodation, Experience and Innovation categories are as follows:

Question 1 (5 marks available)
“In no more than 500 words please tell us what you did to meet the challenges and demands over the last two years in one or more of the following areas: Your Business, Your Visitor, Your Team, Your Community or Yourself”

Question 2 (5 marks available)
“In no more than 500 words please provide details / evidence of the positive impact and outputs your initiative, innovation, business or project delivered”

Entries for the Individual categories are required to answer only one question as follows:

Most Promising Student
Question 1 (5 marks available)
“Please outline in no more than 1000 words how your student contributed to your business and why you feel they deserve this award based on the Giant Spirit Brand Values and behaviours.”

Local Spirit Award
Question 1 (5 marks available)
“Please outline in no more than 1000 words, how the nominated individual has made a difference to Tourism and Community since 1st April 2020 until 31st May 2022. Entries should demonstrate achievements and impact from the individual which are aligned to the Giant Spirit Brand Values and behaviours”

It is recommended for entrants to firstly prepare an offline response to the questions for your category/ies.

The entry form cannot be saved and returned to later, so please have your answers to hand for copy and pasting into the form once you are ready to submit.

Entries will only be accepted via the Giant Spirit Awards website online form and received successfully by the closing date, which is 5pm on Wednesday 27th July 2022.

You will receive a confirmation email once your entry has been submitted successfully.
